![]() Mole Poblano is the best mole in the world! I am Mexican and I lived a good part of my life in a Mexico, enough to know and understand the ample Mexican most representative cuisine and its flavors. To top it all, the service was not good (maybe because I was by myself and as so, I was not considered a potential good tipper). I ordered Mole (rojo, I think, out of the variety they offer) the chicken tasted old and it was not tender and flavorful like it should be the Mole itself was unpalatable, it didn’t have the authentic vibrant mole flavor rendered by all of the ingredients used to make the Mole a great Mole, like those typical of any Mexican restaurante. Second disappointed, they offer only canned beverage (Mexican restaurant usually have a wide variety of freshly made “”Aguas Frescas” which is a beverage made with fresh fruits from the season, water and sugar (agua de tamarindo, Jamaica, horchata, piña, guayaba, etc.). (By the way, the receptionists were more into their cell phones rather than doing their job efficiently, poor customer service) One of the young hostess told me they were waiting for a small table to be available since I was “solo”, which I found ridiculous given the fact the restaurant was at less than half its capacity. until I get frustrated and asked them what was going on. First disappointment: even though the restaurante was only 40% full, they made me wait more than 30 minutes. I read about this place and I was excited to pay a visit whenever I was near the area finally the opportunity came and there I was.
